Help Desk / Network Engineer


  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for end users in MAC OS X, Windows XP and Vista in a domain environment.
  • Support Active Directory and Exchange services.
  • Support BlackBerry devices and BlackBerry Enterprise Servers
  • Support network devices – Barracuda, SonicWall, WatchGuard, Cisco PIX, Switches and Routers
  • The individual will handle and resolve end user issues via telephone and onsite support
  • Responsibilities include, break/fix, solving desktop problems, new buildouts and escalation of level 2 calls
  • Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to extract information from end user to resolve computer related hardware/software issues
  • Interact with clients and service providers to ensure timely correction of network issues
  • Provide 1st and 2nd-tier support for networks


  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to interface with external clients both on-site and via telephone. Must be customer service oriented!!
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of communicating clearly and concisely technical concepts to end users.
  • Experience working with a ticketing system, tracking work done in hours and completing work according to set schedules
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 4 year College degree, preferably a B.S in a technical science or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in administering an enterprise environment
